Alden x Ealdwine D1832HC "Phoenix 2.0" Horween Shell PREORDER DEPOSIT $300
The Phoenix Color #8 Horween Shell Cordovan . The Phoenix is amazing and can easily be dressed up or down.
Made on the barrie last with 360 split reverse welt, antique edge and eyelets and hooks.
Source: Horween Shell cordovan is a special type of equine leather made from the fibrous flat connective tissue (or shell) beneath the hide on the rump of a horse. Because only a small part of the animal provides this leather, it's quite rare.
Production: Shell cordovan is made through a long and labor-intensive tanning process that can take up to six months. This process, traditionally vegetable tanning, creates a very strong and supple leather.
Appearance: Shell cordovan is known for its rich, glassy finish that develops a beautiful patina over time. It has a tight grain and a waxy feel, and unlike many leathers, it won't crack or crease easily.
Uses: Shell cordovan is a premium leather primarily used in high-end footwear, particularly dress shoes, boots, and loafers. It's prized for its combination of beauty, durability, and comfort.
I recommend a half size down from true to size
